Alice, Howard and Nellie Pitzel

Alice, Nellie and Howard Pitzel were victims of H. H. Holmes. They were kids of Benjamin Pitzel who was also killed by Holmes.
Alice was the first kid who had joined Holmes to look for her father in Philadelphia. Later, Holmes will take Nellie and Howard from Mrs. Pitzel, convincing her that he wants all kids to join their father.
He traveled with them through America, until one day when all the kids disappeared.
Investigation showed that Holmes had killed Howard in small cottage in Irvington, Indianapolis, and Alice and Nellie had met their deaths at St. Vincent Street in Toronto.

The Devil of the White city (exploring the connection of the theme of Death and one character)

How important were deaths of people that H. H. Holmes had killed comparing with the death of Root for Chicago city?
Do you think Holmes would be caught earlier if he killed someone who was rich and important for Chicago at that time?

The Devil in the White City

Right now, parts about H. H. Holmes life keep me reading this book. Probably, later on I would be more interested to find out more about city buildings that they are still here from that time.
